Moscow. 20 April. INTERFAX.RU – A device capable of detecting the use of earpieces during exams was created by Denis Rublev, a resident of the business incubator of the Novosibirsk State Technical University. This was reported by the press service of the university.
We are talking about the “U.M.” technology, which is capable of capturing the signal of the induction loop of a micro-earpiece and transmitting it to the teacher.
According to Rublev, his device can be used in exams, olympiads, tests, courses, it does not require continuous monitoring of itself and is more effective than metal detectors, since they react only to large metal objects, and mobile phones seized with their help do not need to be carried with you. for the correct operation of the earpiece.
He added that the use of mufflers to combat prompts in exams needs to be coordinated with the Ministry of Digital Science, and mufflers do not suppress all types of signals.
The main advantage of the invention, Rublev said, is that it allows you not only to drown out the signal, but to find out exactly who uses the earpiece, and prove it, since the device, using the built-in neural network, recognizes the words spoken into the earpiece and speaks them through the speaker.
The device has passed four stages of testing and has proven its effectiveness on the basis of the Novosibirsk State Medical University.
The developers turned to the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region with a request to offer the technology for use at the federal level. The regional department supported this idea and forwarded it to the federal educational departments.
