A commemorative two-euro coin was made in Italy and dedicated to doctors
In Italy, a commemorative two-euro coin was presented, dedicated to doctors and their merits in the fight against coronavirus, MIR 24 reports.
More than three million copies will be made in total. They will be distributed to members of the public. Several thousand coins can be purchased as collectibles. On one side, under the word “thank you”, there are masked paramedics – a man and a woman.
“Last year we were struck by this tragedy of COVID-19, so the Ministry of Economy decided to issue a commemorative coin to thank all the doctors who work so hard for us and our health. That is why this coin is so dear to me. It was important for me to thank these people, ”said coin designer Claudia Momoni.
