The prosecutor's office is investigating a criminal case for a fire in the Kosovo central regional hospital.

The police reported a violation of the fire or man-made safety requirements established by law, as a result of which people died and suffered.

According to the investigation, on December 28, a fire broke out in the hospital. That evening, four people died, and three medical workers were hospitalized with burns.
