In the city of Mogocha, Zabaykalsky Krai of Russia, the coat of arms of Ukraine in the form of a trident was laid out on the building of the military registration and enlistment office.
This was stated by the head of the city, Natalya Veko, in a commentary to the local publication Chita.ru.
According to her, this is the work of Ukrainian builders, who built the structure back in the 1980s or 1990s.
“The house was built back in the 80s or in the 90s. It was built by Ukrainians. The trident is made of bricks, it is convex. You can’t just paint it over. When the first report about this was received, the authorities were notified. There was a big discussion. Supporters of both removing it and having it leave,” says the mayor.
She added that three they decided not to remove the prong, because it is problematic to do so: “We don't destroy memos and art objects.”
