In Turkey, a bomb was found under the car of a law enforcement officer who was supposed to provide security during a rally with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It is noted that the incident took place on Saturday, November 4, near the city of Nusaybin in Mardin province. The policeman was just planning to leave for an event in the neighboring province of Siirt when his colleague noticed an unknown object under the car.

Law enforcement officers called a group of sappers to the scene, who defused the bomb and made a controlled explosion to destroy the device. The investigation and search for suspects continues.

Earlier in Turkey, six foreigners were arrested on charges of “political and military espionage”, including a citizen of Ukraine Ihor Yefrim. The detainees allegedly prepared armed attacks on representatives of the Chechen opposition.
