A woman in India has lost 25 kilograms due to proper nutrition

Weighing 80 kilograms, a resident of the Indian city of Delhi lost 25 kilograms in a year and ten months thanks to proper nutrition. The secret of her success was revealed by the Times of India.
34-year-old Aparna Pande weighed 80 kilograms. This figure was 25-30 kilograms higher than her ideal weight. Because of the excess weight, the woman began to have health problems, she felt uncomfortable in her own body. Over time, the Indian woman decided that it was time to change her lifestyle.
She joined the fitness community, started counting calories and doing daily workouts. Later, the Indian woman began to study how to eat properly and exercise. As a result, she managed to lose 25 kilograms in a year and ten months.
Now for breakfast, the Panda eats three eggs and two pieces of bread of 20 grams and 50 grams of butter. She washes down breakfast with tea with 50 milliliters of milk and a teaspoon of sugar. Her breakfast consists of 300 calories. For lunch, a woman eats 500 calories: 50 grams of rice, oatmeal or flatbread, 200 grams of vegetables and 10 milliliters of olive, mustard or ghee. The Indian woman’s dinner consists of a 50-gram flatbread made of wheat flour, 50 grams of cheese, 100 grams of potatoes and 10 milliliters of butter.
In total, the Indian woman’s dinner has 450 calories. The daily norm for an Indian woman is 1650 kilocalories. She leaves a reserve of 100-150 calories to drink a cup of tea or eat fruit, cookies or chocolate.
“Whenever possible, I weigh the food and try to estimate its weight approximately, if there is no way to weigh it. I can make changes to my diet: I add various vegetables and herbs, fruits and cereals to it in order to get a variety of nutrients. In addition, I take multivitamins and drink fish oil every day,” the woman said. Sometimes Panda allows himself to eat pizza or ice cream.
Panda performs workouts at home or in the gym five times a week. She especially loves classes with free weights. After training, a woman drinks a cocktail with 45 grams of whey protein per 150 calories.
For others who want to lose weight, the Indian woman recommends never copying someone else’s diet, since the daily calorie intake is individual for each person and may vary depending on the specific goal. “Start with small steps and create healthy habits. Repeat them until you realize that they do not require effort, then move on to the next ones,” she said.
The woman recommends doing at least something even on those days when motivation disappears. “On days when I have no motivation, I do at least stretch, move or go for a walk, even if it lasts only ten minutes,” the Indian woman stressed. She advises not to blame yourself for failures.
According to Pande, it is necessary to build a healthy relationship with food. The most important thing is the sustainability of the new lifestyle. “I try to include in my diet foods that I can easily find and consume on a daily basis, even when I visit relatives and travel,” she explained.
