In the first days of the war near Gostomel, the Ukrainian military defeated the column of the 141st motorized regiment of the Chechen National Guard. Then the commander of the elite Kadyrov regiment Magomet Tushaev died. In addition to him, who was awarded a medal for the capture of Crimea, General Andrei Sukhovetsky was liquidated near Mariupol, the nephew of the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation, Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, died near Kharkov. In total, the dead representatives of the highest echelon of the military hierarchy of the Russian Federation – eight.
— There is a well-known military expression that says: the death of a regiment is a tragedy. The death of a colonel is a rout. And what is the death of eight generals? – says Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine.
While the occupying army is on the offensive — their generals control the fighting from command vehicles. More often these are armored personnel carriers or all-terrain vehicles equipped with radar equipment for encrypted communications.
– They do not produce their own range of microelectronics. They did: they bought from the Chinese those microcircuits that the Chinese passed off as their own, but in fact it was purchased in Taiwan. They called them “era” or something else like that and passed off as their development. We have already seen how well it works,” says defense policy expert Leonid Polyakov.

After the death of the generals, the regiments of the invaders are disoriented, they turn into a living target for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
– This is a disaster for any army. Because after the generals die, new ones must be appointed accordingly. These new ones are getting in on the action, and it takes some time: until he arrives, until he arrives. Usually, when the command post is covered, there are no acting duties left. Therefore, this will paralyze the army for several days, — says Arestovich.
Ukrainians are a peaceful nation. But when the invaders come here with weapons, they die from weapons. The day before, Volodymyr Zelensky urged Russian soldiers not to go to Ukraine to certain death.
In the homeland of murdered Russian generals, they do not bury them with honors. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation does not even comment on the loss of its most decorated military.
