A significant portion of Russian residents continue to support the war against Ukraine, and there are also many who believe that the use of nuclear weapons is justified. At the same time, two-thirds of those polled are in favor of moving to peace talks.

In June 2025, the level of support for the war among Russians fell to 74%, which is 6% less than the maximum in May.

The number of those who oppose the war has increased slightly to 16%. Also, two-thirds of respondents believe that Russia should move to peace talks instead of continuing military operations. Note that this figure has remained at its highest level for the second month in a row.

At the same time, a third of respondents are in favor of continuing the war, as in the previous month.
The number of those who believe the use of nuclear weapons is justified fell to 24% in June, 15 points less than in November 2024.

However, 65% of respondents are convinced that nuclear weapons cannot be justified under any circumstances.
The survey was conducted from June 19 to June 25, 2025 among 1,614 people. The study was conducted at the respondent's home using a personal interview. The statistical error (with a probability of 0.95) does not exceed 3.4%.
By the way, earlier a poll was conducted among Americans about providing military aid to Ukraine. The majority of US citizens were in favor of its continuation.
