The introduction of the sixth generation communication standard will take place within the next ten years. This was stated by the top manager of Huawei Xu Zhijun, according to the Chinese edition of MyDrivers.
During a keynote speech at the Huawei Global Analyst event, Zhijun revealed the 6G launch timeline. According to him, this will happen almost immediately after 2030. The company is already studying the new standard, planning future equipment and considering the possibilities for its use. Xu Zhijun promised that Huawei will soon publish a technical document analyzing the prospects for the new standard.
Journalists also cite Dr. Zhu Peiying, an employee of the company's research department, who believes that in ten years, artificial intelligence will be more distributed than centralized, which will undoubtedly affect people's digital lives.
Top managers of Huawei noted that the transition to 6G will not be immediate. According to current statistics, most of the Chinese subscribers are still using the 4G network. The number of 5G-connected subscribers of the three largest operators in China barely exceeds 300 million. The conclusion says that communication of the sixth generation, due to its speed and minimum signal delay, will maximize the unification of the real and digital worlds.
