A six-year-old boy was killed during a shootout between a criminal and police in the Mexican city of Tijuana. RIA Novosti reports.
According to local media reports, the child was playing a kite with his brother in the yard near his house when he was in the center of a shootout. Police officers chased the robber, who tried to hide in a vacant lot and opened fire. During the shooting, the boy was wounded in the stomach; doctors at the local clinic were unable to save him. It is noted that at the moment it is not known who exactly hit the child during the shootout.
Earlier, an eight-year-old child was killed during a shooting in a shopping center in the American city of Hoover (Alabama). According to police, at least four people were injured as a result of the incident. The number of shooters and the reasons for the incident at the Riverchase Galleria have not yet been established.
