The Chinese company Realme has officially brought to Russia one of the world's most affordable gadgets with support for fifth generation networks – the Realme 8 5G smartphone. Within the framework of the trade-in program from MegaFon, the device can be purchased for 16,990 rubles, which is ridiculous by the standards of the class. The base price of the model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory is 19,990 rubles.
The novelty has a 6.5-inch screen with a resolution of Full HD + 2340 x 1080 pixels with an increased refresh rate of 90 Hz and a refresh rate of the touch layer of 180 Hz. In the upper left corner of the matrix, there is a hole for the front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels. The model is based on an eight-core Dimensity 700 processor built on a 7-nanometer process technology.
The manufacturer claims that, thanks to the special technology for allocating DRE RAM, even with 4 GB, the user will not feel a lack of it. The main camera of the smartphone received a main 48-megapixel sensor, supplemented by two auxiliary sensors with a resolution of 2 megapixels. A 5000 mAh battery with support for fast 18-watt charging is responsible for the autonomy of the smartphone. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has unveiled the new Mi Watch Revolve Active smartwatch.
