On May 13, Xiaomi presented a new smartphone Mi 11 in Russia – we have been waiting for this gadget for a long time and were definitely not disappointed. Together with him, the company showed a new bracelet Mi Band, models Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Lite 5G. We will tell about them later, but for now – the main features of the flagship Mi 11.
Cinema cameras
Xiaomi claims that even a professional movie can be shot on the Mi 11. And for good reason: the smartphone is equipped with a 108-megapixel camera with support for optical stabilization, a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a 123-degree viewing angle and a 5 megapixel tele-macro camera. It also has a whole set of effects that will allow you to edit cool video “in one click”: freeze frame, time lapse, frame mirroring and others.
Video can be shot even in night mode: it uses a neural network to remove noise and adjust the optimal brightness. The clips recorded on the Xiaomi Mi 11 support HDR10 + high dynamic range – just like a real movie. Also, the phone can shoot in high resolution 8K at 24 or 30 fps.
Super-fast charging 55W
The new Mi 11 breaks charging power records: the smartphone supports 55W chargers! Moreover, the corresponding adapter is already included with the device. At a time when other companies are removing chargers from boxes, Xiaomi pleases users with its generosity.
In addition, the flagship supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging. Using the included charger, a smartphone with a 4600 mAh battery will charge from zero to 100% in just 45 minutes. And with a powerful wireless docking station – in 53 minutes.
Powerful processor
Xiaomi Mi 11 is the world's first smartphone based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Today it is one of the fastest mobile platforms. The chipset is based on a 5nm process technology and is equipped with 8 cores, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and a neural module for working with AI. It supports cameras with a resolution of 108 megapixels, the new standard Wi-Fi 6, 5G and Bluetooth 5.2.

120Hz screen
The smartphone received a large screen with a diagonal of 6.81 inches and a resolution of WQHD + – that is, 3200×1440 pixels and 515 ppi. This is a bright AMOLED matrix with excellent color reproduction and a small cutout for the front camera. It covers 100% DCI-P3 and renders colors in 10 bits.
But the coolest thing is that the flagship has a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which can change adaptively depending on the content. You do not have to choose between 120 Hz and 60 Hz, as on other flagships – the smartphone itself will set the required scan. The display's sampling rate is 480Hz – which in practice means a very fast response that gamers will appreciate.
Slim body in three colors
The new flagship has a curved body on 4 sides – and very thin. The Mi 11 is only 8.06 mm thin – it is 0.9 mm “slimmer” and 12 grams lighter than the previous model. The gadget is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and is not afraid of scratches.
The model is available in three colors: azure blue, midnight gray and cloudy white. There is also an unusual special version in navy blue – the back of this model is decorated with the signature of the founder of Xiaomi Lei Jun.
