Due to Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine alone, about 40,000 people were left without electricity and food. The humanitarian situation there is difficult. The enemy does not allow civilians to be evacuated. This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.
– The issue of evacuating people from the cities of Volnovakha, Sartana, Talanovka, where active hostilities continue, is especially acute. But the Russian side did not give an answer,” the minister said.
According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at present Ukraine has applied all possible international instruments.
The situation remains critical in the city of Bucha, Kiev region.
However, Denis Monastyrsky convinces that the government has already created a coordinating center for the provision of food, water, medicines, fuel, and adds:
– Now the logistics are being built for the transfer of humanitarian cargo to the cities most in need.
