For four-year-old Lily, from Barrie, Welsh, a walk along the beach was life-changing. Thanks to an unusual find, she has already gone down in history: the girl discovered a fossilized dinosaur footprint, dating back about 200 million years. Scientists suggest that it was left by a herbivorous reptile from the Upper Triassic period – the first geological period of the Mesozoic era.
This is a real paleontological discovery: the footprint on Bendrix Beach is very well preserved, it will help to find out how the earliest dinosaurs moved.
