A woman in the UK suffocated in her faulty bed with a lifting mechanism.

Helen Davey, 39, died after a faulty bed fell on her head, trapping her between the mattress and the bed frame.
Her 19-year-old daughter Elizabeth found her dead at their home in Seagham, County Durham, on June 7.
An inquest into Helen's death heard one of the pistons that lifted the mattress was faulty – and a coroner warned there was a risk of further deaths unless action was taken.
In his report, senior coroner Jeremy Chipperfield said: “The deceased was leaning over the storage area for the ottoman-style 'gas lift' when the mattress platform suddenly fell, pinning her neck to the upper surface of the side panel of the bed base. Unable to free herself, she died of asphyxiation.”
The coroner added that his duty was to raise concerns with the Product Standards Agency about “the existence and use of gas piston bed mechanisms, the failure of which poses a risk to life.”
Recall that a mother died in front of her two children after being bitten by a pet hamster. She did not reach a hospital.
