Holly Rouse-Sweeney travelled more than 100 miles to meet the boy at his Nottinghamshire home after tutoring him online.
The maths teacher then had sexual contact with him on several occasions, despite knowing he was underage.
Police were called in May 2023 after the boy's mother found inappropriate WhatsApp messages on his phone.
Police found several incriminating diary entries on the teacher's laptop, in which she admitted to the abuse and even gave the boy's true age.
Rouse-Sweeney later pleaded guilty to two counts of having impenetrable sexual contact with the boy and four counts of causing the boy to engage in sexual activity.
She claimed that her actions were influenced by a long-standing mental disorder.
Rouse-Sweeney, of Hebden Bridge, subsequently appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing.
