36 OneWeb satellites delivered to Russia for launch
A batch of 36 OneWeb communication satellites has been delivered to Russia, Roscosmos reported.
The satellites were delivered to the Ignatievo airfield in Blagoveshchensk on an An-124-100 aircraft. On Saturday they will be transported to the Vostochny cosmodrome.
The state corporation clarified that the launch of satellites is scheduled for next month.
As a reminder, on September 14, the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with the Fregat upper stage and 34 OneWeb spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
On the eve it was reported that the production of the first satellite of the “Skif” space group was launched in the Russian Federation to provide broadband Internet access.
