She got behind the wheel when the driver stopped at a gas station.
In Australia, a woman stole a van with 10,000 donuts .
Telegraph.co.uk writes about this.
The van was on its way to shops near Sydney but went missing when the delivery driver stopped for gas during his night shift. CCTV captured a woman hanging around a parked car. A moment later, she got in and drove away while the driver paid at the cash register.
As it turns out, the woman was 28-year-old Bianca Dennis, who was originally wanted on charges of missing a ticket on a train station platform. She was on the run from the cops for two weeks.
“She was charged with taking and operating a vehicle without the owner's consent, operating a vehicle while disqualified, and traveling or attempting to travel without a valid ticket,” NSW Police said.
It's unclear if she knew that the unmarked white van was filled with thousands of donuts. Since these sweets sold for about 4 Australian dollars, the value of the cargo was about 40,000 dollars.
Police have confirmed the van was found in a park near Parramatta. In their statement, law enforcement added that “the donuts were destroyed,” without providing details.
Recall that a four-month-old child, thrown out of the house by a tornado, was found alive in a tree. The baby miraculously survived.
