Bomb alarm in Dortmund
Excitement in Dortmund! A 250 kilo bomb from the Second World War was discovered next to the Borussia Dortmund stadium.
Signal Iduna Park had to be evacuated and the area cordoned off within a radius of 250 meters.
The city of Dortmund declares that a world war bomb was discovered on the neighboring area at the Rote Erde stadium. The police were able to defuse the 250-kilo explosive device.
A sports hall, a tennis club and parts of an allotment garden had to be cleared. The lock was lifted after the dud bomb was defused.
