US authorities are studying 23 deaths in New York state after coronavirus vaccination. This was announced to RIA Novosti by a representative of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
He explained that at the moment the connection between the deceased Americans and taking the drug has not yet been established. “The latest data show 643 cases of side effects after vaccination against COVID-19 in New York State,” – said the source.
According to him, based on the data obtained, the side effects are similar to those observed in clinical trials. These include headache, chills, mild fever, fatigue.
At the same time, the representative of the center stressed that now there is no evidence that would indicate a problem with the safety of vaccines. The causes of deaths after vaccination are now being investigated.
Earlier in Greece, an 85-year-old man died a few minutes after being vaccinated against the coronavirus. Before the vaccination, the doctors collected the patient's history: he had no contraindications to the vaccine. After the vaccination, the elderly man sat in the waiting room, then suddenly lost consciousness and fell. Doctors promptly provided him with first aid and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, after which the patient regained consciousness for about five minutes and again lost consciousness.
