Superstar Stephen Curry has extended his contract with the Golden State Warriors, according to a media report. The two-time MVP of the North American basketball league NBA has signed for four years and $ 215 million, ESPN reported on Tuesday. The 33-year-old's current contract expires next summer, so Curry has signed up to the Warriors until 2026.
According to Curry's manager Jeff Austin, the point guard is the first player to sign two contracts for more than $ 200 million each. The current contract was signed by Curry in 2017 for five years and $ 201 million.
Last season, Curry won the NBA scoring title for the second time since 2016 with an average of 32 points per game and was elected to the team of the season for the fourth time. The Warriors still missed the play-off.
