2022 Olympic medal standings: Norway leads the way

At the end of the ninth day of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, Norway took the lead, depriving Germany of the multi-day championship in the standings.

During the Olympics on February 14, seven sets of awards were played among such disciplines as: short track, cross-country skiing, speed skating, alpine skiing and biathlon.

Norway came out on top on 14 February, ending Germany's lead in second place in the rankings. The Norwegian Olympic team currently has nine gold medals, while Germany has eight gold medals.

Both teams have five silver medals. Germany has two bronze medals, and Norway has seven medals.

Third place continues to belong to the United States – they have seven gold and six silver medals, and three bronze medals.

The Netherlands are fourth with six gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

Sweden is fifth with five gold medals, three silver and three bronze.

Ukraine still has never risen in the medal standings.

On February 15, the winners of seven more sets of medals for the 2022 Winter Games will be determined. The Beijing Olympics will run from 4 to 20 February 2022.

From Ukraine, 45 athletes participate in these Games in 12 disciplines. This is a record number of sports at the Winter Olympics for our country. For all days of the 2022 Olympics, 109 awards in 15 sports should be played.
