Indonesia's Tornado goalkeeper Tawfiq Ramsey has died after colliding with an opponent during a match against Vagana in League 3. The league's Instagram has reported this.
During the meeting, Ramsey collided with a player from the opposing team and was kicked in the head. The unconscious player on a stretcher was carried off the field into an ambulance.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and urgently operated on. Despite the efforts of the doctors, Ramsey, who was in a coma for several days, died.
On November 27, 16-year-old defender of MHC Dynamo and the Russian junior national team Valentin Rodionov died. The hockey player was injured during a match against CSKA on November 21. He hit the side, after which he lost consciousness and was taken to the intensive care unit of the children's hospital.
