The operational headquarters announced the hospitalization of 18,597 patients with coronavirus per day in Russia

Over the past day in Russia, 18,597 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized. This was reported on the website of the infection control headquarters on Saturday, February 12.
So, compared with the previous day, the number of hospitalizations decreased by 3.55 percent – then it was 19,281.
112,658 patients recovered and were discharged over the past day. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, doctors have treated 11,134,291 Russians with coronavirus.
Also, over the past 24 hours, 203,766 people have been infected with the coronavirus. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 13,935,560.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the allocation of 400 million rubles by the government for the study of the genome of the omicron strain of coronavirus. The funds will be used to purchase equipment, enzymes and consumables.
