18-year-old Russian chess player Andrei Esipenko spoke on Match TV about his victory over the world champion, Norwegian Magnus Carlsen.
Esipenko said that he was not worried at all in front of the game, but the thought that he could defeat the reigning world champion made him worried. He added that he believed in victory, but did not understand what to expect from 30-year-old Carlsen. “It's still a different level. As if I'm going into the unknown … ”- the grandmaster recalled.
