American football player Senkes Jermaine Perry was killed in his sleep. Reported by WTXL.
The player was attacked at night. Police responded to reports of the shooting and found an injured Perry. The athlete was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Experts who arrived at the crime scene found shell casings near the apartment building where Perry lived. They also found shots on the walls, suggesting that the shooting was fired from outside.
Perry, 17, played for the Brooks County High School Troians.
In May, it became known that the football player “Harlow Town” Francois Cablan was killed in a fight in London. The 19-year-old athlete died from stab wounds on the spot. The police detained four people: among the suspects in the murder of Cablan, three men and one woman.
