In the UK, a 19-year-old boy was put on trial for the murder of his grandmother, 69-year-old Sue Addis. Sue Eddis lived in Brighton and owned two restaurants. The success of the establishments made her a millionaire.

The grandson of an elderly woman, Pietro Eddis, lived with her and was preparing to become a cook in one of her restaurants. The police found the body of Sue Eddis in the bathroom with wounds to her neck and chest. Pietro himself called the police and confessed that he had stabbed his grandmother. In total, he stabbed her 17 times.
At the trial, it turned out that the young man regularly used light drugs along with antidepressants.
Pietro pleaded guilty to the murder. His lawyers claim that the combination of drugs he was taking at the time caused him to become paranoid. They ask to take this factor into account as a mitigating circumstance of the forthcoming verdict.
However, the prosecution excludes the arguments of the defense. The prosecutor believes that Pietro was quite sane and aware of what he was doing.
Earlier it was reported about a terrible incident that occurred in Hong Kong. A well-known model was found dead there. The police have already found out that the murder was committed by the woman's ex-husband and his relatives. They dismembered the body.
