The Football Association of England has punished the 16-year-old player of the English Premier League (Premier League) club for violation of anti-doping rules. It is reported by Inside the Games.
The footballer's name was not disclosed. The athlete was suspended for nine months for possession of growth hormone – somatropin. The drug was found in a football player back in July 2020, but the investigation did not establish the fact of using a prohibited agent. The player was found guilty only of possession of doping.
