On February 11, the 15th aircraft landed at the Boryspil airport, delivering 90 tons of ammunition from the United States of America for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total weight of US military aid is 1,300 tons, according to the US embassy in Kiev.
– Fifteen flights – and there will be even more. About 90 more tons of ammunition, Javelin systems and defense assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now, as always, we stand by Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression,” the statement said.
In 2022, the Ukrainian Navy may receive more than 10 Mark VI-type patrol boats from the United States. Supply will be carried out in stages.
Mark VI are combat patrol boats designed to patrol coastal areas and protect ports.
They are equipped with a 30mm automatic cannon and can carry rocket weapons.
