In Poland, the Inspectorate for Agriculture and Food Quality (IJHARS) in Lublin banned the sale on the market of three batches of ice cream with a total weight of 8.48 tons. The product was brought from Ukraine. Due to its unfreezing, the department issued an order that “subject to immediate execution.”
This is stated in the IJHARS statement on the social network X.
“The IJHARS office in Lublin has decided to prohibit the sale in Poland of three batches of ice cream with a total weight of 8482 kg, imported from Ukraine, due to defrosting. The decision is subject to immediate execution,” the message says.
Before this, the IJHARS office in Poznan decided to ban the sale in Poland of a batch of ice cream weighing 1438 kg, imported from Ukraine, “due to the lack of declaration of the content of a sweetener (aspartame) in its composition.” < /p>
Earlier this week, the inspectorate announced the largest fine in its history of 1.5 million zlotys (about 380 thousand dollars), imposed on an importing company for importing 11.5 thousand tons into the Polish market from Ukraine technical rapeseed and feed wheat as counterfeit due to their further use as food products.
Also, the IJHARS management issued three decisions banning the sale in Poland of a batch of tomato paste weighing 57,660 kg, imported from Ukraine, “due to the presence of mold pieces in the product.”
