Jose Mourinho experienced a real debacle with AS Roma on matchday three of the Conference League, losing 6-1 at Norway club Bodö / Glimt.
Erik Botheim (8th) and Patrick Berg (20th) quickly shot the Norwegian champions of 2020 2-0 in the front before Carles Perez reduced it to 1: 2 (28th).
But after changing sides, the highly favored Romans had nothing more to say. Botheim tied a brace in the 52nd minute, making it 3-1, before Ola Solbakken with two goals (71st, 80th) and Amahl Pellegrino (78th) made the half dozen against the desolate “Giallorossi”.
With the victory in the direct duel, Bodö / Glimt also took the championship lead from the Mourinho-Elf and is on the way up with seven points from three games.
